WhatsApp Business app or WhatsApp API?
The free app suits one or two people replying by hand. The API is for businesses that want several agents on one number, automated replies, order and payment updates, broadcast campaigns to opted-in customers and connection to a CRM. A number can be on one or the other, so we plan the switch with you.
What the API costs to run
Our fee covers setup. Meta charges per template message, with rates that depend on the category: marketing, utility or authentication. Replies to a customer within 24 hours of their message are free-form. If you use a solution provider's inbox, that provider charges a subscription. We explain these before you choose.

Which documents are needed for Meta business verification in India?
A document showing your legal business name and address, such as a GST certificate, certificate of incorporation, Udyam registration or a utility bill, plus a phone number or domain email Meta can verify.
Can I keep my existing WhatsApp number?
Yes. An existing number can be moved to the API. It will stop working in the regular WhatsApp Business app unless you use the coexistence option where available.
Do I need a green tick?
No. The API works without it. The verified badge is a separate application that Meta approves for notable brands or through a paid Meta Verified subscription.
