How we redesign without losing rankings

Redesigns go wrong when addresses change and nobody tells Google. Before touching anything we:

1. Crawl the current site and list every page, its traffic and the searches it ranks for.
2. Decide what to keep, merge or drop, so the strongest pages survive.
3. Map every old address to its new one and set permanent redirects.
4. Carry over titles, descriptions and content that already rank, improving rather than replacing them.
5. Check Search Console after launch for errors and fix them in the first weeks.

Most small business redesigns fit the Starter or Business package: five to twenty-five pages, rebuilt fast and mobile-first, with your existing content reused where it works. Many are live within two weeks of the content being agreed.

A migration is the riskiest moment for search rankings: new addresses, new structure, sometimes a new domain or platform. Our SEO migration process covers a full crawl and traffic export before the move, a redirect map for every URL, carrying over titles, content and structured data, updating internal links and the sitemap, a change-of-address request in Search Console when the domain changes, and daily checks of crawl errors and rankings for the first weeks. Moving from Squarespace, Wix or WordPress to a custom site follows the same steps.

Website migration service

Moving a site to a new host, a new domain or off a website builder is part of a redesign, or can be done on its own. We copy files and databases, move email where it is hosted with the site, switch DNS at a quiet time, install SSL and test forms, so the site is not down for visitors. Moving to a new domain also needs redirects from the old one, which we set up.
